Ragnarok Online 2 Monks the Champions of RO1 But the WEAKEST in RO2!

Is it really the Downfall of the Monks?

1. YES! Monks are really WEAK here in RO2!! I will delete my Monk and create a new different class! (11 votes [18.64%])
2. NO! I love Monks. I'm still hoping for an update!! Maybe the developers will make it stronger someday. (48 votes [81.36%])

I think most of you played Ragnarok Online 1. And you know how OVERPOWERED a Monk/Champion/Sura is in RO1.
You can be killed in ONE HIT by their Asura Strike.
And we have to admit that it is considered to be one of the strongest class in RO1.

But here in RO2, it's a different scenario.

1. Level 5 Asura Strike only deals 120% damage of your Attack Power! (A huge nerf from RO1. It means that you cannot 1 hit ANYONE!)
2. The burst damage of our ONE AND ONLY DEADLY SKILL, Asura Strike, is not even enough to compensate the LONG CASTING ANIMATION and VERY LONG COOLDOWN! (Imagine 60 seconds cooldown!! Plus, you can only do 2 Asura Strikes in 2 minutes. [When Summon Spirit Sphere is used])
3. Monks are struggling hard just to get a LAST HIT in PVP Colosseum. (Oyeah! Thanks to the long casting animation and very long cooldown of Asura Strike!)

Ragnarok Online 2 Monster Summon for Tank Warrior

Assassin Elder good for TANK and Lappar good one

I suppose any healing summons like Willow, Lapparman or Assassin Elder will do great) but they are hard to get... one can try using defense buffing summons, there are some not so expencive


and if pet same LV
I think Eremes Best

becuz AoE Stun 3-4 times, ya boss got stun too,

all boss ex. Baphomet, Kremp and Maya got stun also

iii. General Tips
Here is a few tips and thumb rule for you to play RO2 in an ease. This section consists of a few leveling tips, user-interface, and so on.

1. Use the transparent Map by clicking the "M" button two times and place it everywhere that won't disturb your eyes while playing.
2. Do not waste your time on killing monsters in the field blindly. Do the quests because it is the main source of our experience. The act of questing and killing monsters is called grinding.
3. Do not underestimate the power of Khara Quest. It also increases your experience. It will also give you rewards, "title" being the most common reward to get after completing Khara Quests. Title is used to enhance your stats. Every time you leveled up, there'll be new Khara Quest available. So be sure to activate it once you've increase your skill and stats!
4. Left click the quest to display the location of the monsters for your quest!

First of All this is topic is only my opinion.
It seems that this game in favour with Assassins!


Survivability:
Assassin = Shadow Armor 50% Increase defense rate
Rogue = Gangster Paradise 12% HP recovery every 2 Seconds (Require Combo points)

Knockdown:
Assassin = Shadow Assault No need for combo points
Rogue = Crescent Moon Depending on your Combo points

Obtaining Combo :
Assassin = Shadow Strike 3 combo points (20secs cooldown)
Rogue = Duel Stab 2 cobo points (8secs Cooldown)

AlbertaFirst of all nice stats. Second i have a question, i'm playing as ranger aswell. However i just noticed that everytime i'm level up, my crit and dodge stats somewhat become lower. For example before i lvl up i have 18% crit rate and 9.13% dodge rate, after i lvl up it become 17.60% crit and 8.70% dodge rate. And this always happened every time i'm lvl up. Is this normal and everyone else experienced this aswell? or its just me?

Good day everybody!
Today I will tell you about warrior build, warrior has high attack and moderate high defend. There are a lot of great warrior build. There are two build that I think very fun to play with, The first I'll call it Killer Build (Very High Damage) and the second one is Tanker Build (High Damage and High Defend). I got no interest on hybrid build since focusing on one stat is better on getting more buff bonus than hope for other job to give buff to improve you second stat. Warrior works great when party with healer.

Ragnarok Online 2 The AV/DS Ranger Rotation

Hi, I've been roaming around the forums for awhile and like to share some of my personal gameplay experiences with everybody.
I'd like to begin by saying that I am in no way a hardcore RO2 gamer nor have i cleared more than half of end game contents.
My 'knowledge'( for the lack of a better word ) comes from being a seasoned WoW player and i've found the mechanics for Ranger/Hunter to be somewhat similar.

Cut to the chase, i believe this should be the one of the better PVE dps rotations for any rangers that have gotten some points into AV/DS.
The rationale behind this rotation is to a)minimize the downtime caused by GCD (Global Cooldown), b)keeping 5x fear breeze up the entire fight c) casting as many AVs as possible without losing FB for too long. Remember that in DPS, every second counts.

Ragnarok Online 2 How do you place your skill on keyboard?(sorc)

I'm a hybrid sorc. I wonder how you all manage to use short cut key when need to change from damage to healing?

I find myself difficult to use shift and alt, and sometimes my keyboard will lock alt and shift makes me further confused. Usually I use mouse to click for alt and shift row.

Is there any way we can put our skill on alphabet key? 

Ragnarok Online 2 One another way to solve the Hackshield issue

Hi, for those players who still facing the problem during running the Hackshield, I found another way to solve this problem. Personally tested, it's work to many PCs. Below are the steps:

[For those who did not load the Hackshield after click the Login Button]

Step 1: Find your RO2 Installation Folder, basically locate at C:\PlayPark\RO2 (Depend on where you choose to install)

Step 2: Find a file with the name of vc_red.msi, double click the file to install it. (Make sure you close the RO2 client before install.)

Step 3: Once done, try to open again. Should be able to run after that.

If you see monk they either have very strong body and also very fast attack combo. If you want to be a monk you must ready to be either damage taker or damage dealer. Even monk use clothes as their armor, monk has very great defend skills. Monk usually role as tanker when MVP, Monk also could be super high damage dealer (in short time / every 60/120 second) with a skill combination. You will get skill reset when class change from acolyte to monk.

There are two type of monk Tanker and Damager
